During this regularly scheduled Munson Board of Trustees meeting Chairman McMullen lashed out at me, Rich Ferlin, a current board of trustee member of the Munson Fire Department (MFD) following my explanation of the recently updated by-laws and financial report of the MFD corporation. Her rant stemmed from my use of the word “dear” instead of “Chairman McMullen” which you can clearly hear me apologize for and which she ignored.

This is not the first time I have experienced McMullen’s lack of professional control. A similar tirade happened in an August, 2017, during a Munson budget meeting when I attempted to offer a financial suggestion regarding the Townships inability to pay the current MFD contract. I inadvertently began my suggestion after first being advised of her “public comment” rule, with “swe..”, an obvious beginning to “sweetie”. Really, is this because I am outspoken as to her “inability to do her job”?
